The cult classic Melty Blood bursts forward again with Melty Blood Act Cadenza, an anime fighting game. It features a rich story thanks to it's heavy tie ins with Japanese game Tsukihime and manga books by Takeru Kirishima.
The game pits magic users against each other. Players can use magic to attacks, recover health, dash and shield themselves from attacks. Unlike a number of other fighting games shield/block is a button not just holding back on the joystick. Player can perform a number of different Shielding moves including block, cancel, dash and to set up for last arc moves.
