Tekken Tag Tournament 2 Arcade Game Board Kits is ideally suited for Namco's Noir original cabinets. With the latest edition, key features include worldwide networking through internet, Namco's new "Bana-Passport" player cards and live monitor data feature.
The gameplay expands on the tag mechanics featured in the first Tekken Tag, allowing for extended tag combos and combined moves. Tag Assaults will now play a larger part, allowing both characters to participate in the combo at the same time.
Combo features such as "Bound" hits, continue from the Tekken 6 series allowing players to stun their opponents and increase combo moves.
Namco further extends their NBGI (Namco Bandai Games Inc) Online system for worldwide play and requires internet connection. Previously, only network features were only allowed in Japan, however Namco has now expanded this features for the international market.
Please note (very important);
- you must have internet connection for this game to work (the game cannot work offline)
- you must have the game board charged via prepaid cards, ie, you buy charge cards which add "points" to your game board. Each time a player using the machine, 5 points are deducted. If your game board has zero points, the game stops working
The concept is that weekly/monthly live updates are given to the game board introducing new characters, venues, combo moves - these all occur automatically.
