Sol Divide: Sword of Darkness Arcade PCB was produced by Psikyo in 1997 and is a horizontal scrolling game in which players can fight and shoot their way through multiple stages and boss characters.
This title has beautiful medieval and mythical themed graphics and some of the monsters featured in the game include dragons, two headed snakes, demons and more!
There are lots of different forms of magic to use: fire, ice, wind, lightning, and time just to name a few. Magic is activated by pressing the Shot and Slash buttons simultaniously. The Slash button is unique in that you may play the game as more of an action game if you so desire. It is possible to beat the game without ever firing a shot and just hacking people to death.
Sol Divide: Sword of Darkness is a fun and classic side scrolling "shooter" that is very similar to Sengoku Blade, another Psikyo title with flying samurai/shogun warriors, and is great for customers doing DIY arcade machine projects or refurbishing an arcade cabinet.
