Samurai Shodown IV Neo Geo MVS Cartridge. Samurai Shodown IV is the fourth in a line of cartridge based 2D animated sword fighting video games. This chapter introduces the new rage explosion system. This Samurai Shodown includes a more involved story line then previous versions.
The player battles against time as well as fierce opposition in order to make it to the end boss ahead of their character rival. New characters are ninja brothers Kazama Kazuki and Kazama Sogetsu. Also new is the 'suicide' move, where a player can sacrifice their life and forfeit the round, with the benefit of starting the next round with a full POW gauge.
