Super Street Fighter IV is the updated version of Capcom's popular arcade fighting game, Street Fighter IV. It runs on the Taito Type X2 hardware and has been said to mark the definitive end of the fourth instalment of the Street Fighter series.
This Versus System Kit includes Type X2 Motherboard, Hard Drive, USB Dongle and Artwork. Only ONE kit is required for a two player setup. This is a huge improvement over previously released SFIV/SSFIV Upgrade Kits, which required one kit per player. With the release of this Versus Upgrade Kit, operators can effectively save thousands of dollars when implementing a SSFIV multiplayer setup.
The Versus Upgrade Kit requires the Taito Type X2 Versus Kit to function. These are available to purchase from us separately if you require one.
About the Game
Super Street Fighter IV features all 25 characters from Street Fighter IV, as well as ten new characters that are unlocked at the start of the game. Among the ten added characters are T. Hawk and Dee Jay from Super Street Fighter II, Adon from the original Street Fighter and Cody and Guy from Final Fight. Dudley, Ibuki and Makoto from Street Fighter III also return. The arcade version adds Street Fighter III's Yun and Yang to the playable roster.
Super Street Fighter IV also features two new characters. Juri is a female Taekwondo fighter with an energy-boosting device implanted in her left eye, providing her with time-warping abilities. Hakan is a Turkish oil wrestler who wants to prove that Turkish oil wrestling is the greatest fighting style on earth.
