Beatmania II DX 18: Resort Anthem is a DJ simulation game as part of the long running Beatmania series. The game is playable by 1 or 2 players, and features e-AMUSEMENT support where available. Features a fun beach/vacation theme.
New in Resort Anthem is the Premium Free Mode, where the player plays for 8 minutes as opposed to 2 stages. A song in-game can be cancelled by pressing the EFFECT and VEFX buttons simultaneously, however, the time spent during the song would still count as part of the 8 minutes. Also new is DJ Order Mode, which is similar to pop'n music's Challenge mode, where a player can select missions and earn DELLAR POINTS.
The gameplay involves the player selecting a song, with the player then having to match the notes by pressing the keys and scratching the turntable in time with the music.
